Hindu Santa

January 12, 2009

Hindus are a greedy bunch.  They never seem to be content with their suffocatingly overcrowded pantheon of gods, godesses and prophets but are always asking for more.  I don’t know what type of a sadistic pleasure they derive from always stealing other people’s thunder, but whenever a religion tries to sneak up from behind and get some media attention, Hindus are quick to establish a link between their religion and the other.

Hindus are not only satisfied by pointing out that Buddha was born a Hindu and his religion draws a lot from hindusim but they also claim that  Jesus was a Hindu Yogi with Christianity having its roots in Hinduism and the fact (?) that the Kabaa was actually a Hindu Shrine taken over by Muslims.  This time however, they seem to have surpassed all limits of decency and morality. The hindus have now staked their shameless claim to one of the last bastions of happy Christiandom – the chubby old man from the North Pole (oops !! Jalandar) – and this time they are detemined to get what they want,  even it means brainwashing hundreds of innocent kids !!

Hi Nitwit, read somw of your posts. Liked a lot.
But in this post, you seem to have lost your sense of humour. That video was for funny purposes, not to take it literally.

Regarding the proclamations about prophets of other religions by Hindus – it is not unique to Hindus alone. You being a Zakir Naik fan 🙂 must’ve listened how the coming of Mohammad was foretold in Hindu scriptures . Also I had a pamphlet distributed by a missionary which said that Jesus was mentioned in Vedas and his sacrifice was the greatest sacrifice according to Vedas.

Hi Astitha, thanks for the comment. LOL !!…I was very much aware of the humor in that video and my post was meant to be sarcastic. I guess it wasn’t clear from the post
